| 14/06/2007 | I can't select for the correct label size on my printer so I waste labels and the translation doesn't appear where it should. | Updated the Translabel download to allow the user to
select for the correct label size for the printer. This has been uploaded
to the web today.
Users will be asked if they wish to download the update - please select yes at this point (installation takes 1 minute) |
| 20/02/2007 | Request from Devon LPC for Large Text Labels to be provided to help patients with visual impairment and pharmacy compliance with DDA. | Labels prepared and available via the website. Label printing application is also updated to include the changes. Users will be asked if they wish to download the update - please select yes at this point (installation takes 1 minute) |
| 12/12/2006 | How come you make it available free of charge? | My work as a pharmacist has made me realise that for any
therapy to be successful it requires the understanding and engagement of
the patient. There is a significant population who may not speak English
as a first language and any improvement in understanding how to take
medicines is in both the professional and personal interest.
The site is free of charge as I feel it is important to have good information freely available to fellow professionals. If you would like to make a donation to the running of the site via PayPal then please feel free to! |
| 11/12/2006 | How do we know that the translations are accurate? | The labels have been written and proof read by the kind
contributors in the acknowledgements
section after requesting assistance in the Pharmaceutical Journal in the
UK.
I have tried to have at least two people involved in the each set of labels as a quality control. Please read the terms of use for more information. |
| 10/12/2006 | When is the site due to go live? | The site is planned for going live in January 2007 and will be advertised via the Pharmaceutical Journal LPCs and PCTs in the UK. Other contributors to the site will be advised of the launch date and are welcomed to promote the site in their respective countries. |
